Now Accepting School Choice Applications

Effective immediately and for the 2021-2022 school year, all St. Landry Parish School System students, staff, and visitors to any SLPSS facility will no longer be required to wear masks while inside or outside St. Landry Parish School facilities. If parents, students, or staff wish to continue to wear masks while at school, they may do so. The mask mandate, however, will continue to be in place while traveling on school buses.

St. Landry Parish District Attorney, Chad Pitre, has recently implemented the TASC and is working closely with the St. Landry Parish School Board in an effort to increase school attendance in St. Landry Parish schools.
